Cory Robert Grimm

Cory Robert Grimm, 24, of West Chester, died surrounded by family on December 13, 2018 at UC Medical Center. He was born November 16, 1994 in Hamilton, the son of John D. Grimm, Jr. and Robin (Sudbrook) Caudell. He graduated from Westerville South High School in 2013, and was currently working at Cantina Laredo in Liberty Township as a waiter. Cory was loved for his giving nature and is survived by his father, John D. Grimm, Jr., of Westerville, his mother and step-father Robin and Todd Caudell, his brother Austin Grimm of Oakley, his step-brother Seth Caudell, and step-sisters Jessica (Justin) Whitt, and Andrea (Jason) Rooney, along with nephews Evan and Conner Rooney. He is also survived by fraternal great-grandparents Lloyd and Fern Grimm, fraternal grandparents John D. Grimm, Sr. and Sherrie Grimm. He also leaves behind his maternal grandparents, Robert and Connie Sudbrook, and Darlene and Dean Vincent, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins located here and throughout the country. Funeral services will be held at Landmark Church, 1600 Glendale Milford Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45215 on Wednesday, December 19, with visitation taking place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and services on location immediately following.

Special thanks to the staff at Mercy West Hospital and UC Medical Center for making his last moments on earth as comfortable as possible so that all of our traveling family could be there until his passing. Cory chose to be an organ and tissue donor, and was able to help 30 to 40 people with his gift.
