Helen was an awesome friend and neighbor. Being one of the first to welcome my family to West Chester in the 70's and 80's, she continued to treat us like family. During 1976 when our infant son was in the ICU at Children's for weeks, she brought meals and even cleaned our house unexpectedly one time. She was a great gardener and cook. I loved her pepperoni rolls! I live in the Boston area now and am so sorry I could not make arrangements soon enough to come to honor Helen at this time. I want Jenny, Michael, Chip, Rusty and her grandchildren to know how sorry I am for their loss and hope they can turn their sadness into joy for the privilege they enjoyed having Helen as a mother. I know Helen is in Heaven now with Jesus, who she loved. I am sure it was her greatest wish for all of them to come to love Jesus as much as she so they could spend eternity together. Adieu, sweet Helen. I will see you again in time.
