SCHMITZ, Joseph A. “Gus” beloved husband of JoAnn “Janet” Schmitz for 59 years, loving father of Mary Rose “Rosie” (Jim) Bernard, Margie Schmitz (Ron Shaw), Karl (Julie) Schmitz and Betty Hancock, cherished grandfather of Katie Bernard, Laura Schmitz and Alex Hancock, brother of Alice, Joseph, Annie, Allen and the late Anthony, William, Mary Margaret, Robert and Paul, uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Gus passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the age of 87. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, College Hill, 45224 on Monday, April 9^th from 5 PM to 7 PM.
