Girard, Kathy Jean (nee Woodrum). Beloved wife of the late Walter D. Girard. . Dear mother of Darold (Sarah) Girard, Stephanie (Matt) Morgan and Shannon (Bryan) Young., Grandmother of Lauren (Ray), Leann, Hunter, Madison, Brayden, Kyle, Lindsey and Cameron. Great-grandmother of Kiersten, Khloe, and Kaiser. Sister of Jim (Kaye) Woodrum, Larry (Sharon) Woodrum, Connie Luttrell, Donna (Randy) Fey, Janet (the late Jerry) Jones and the late Gary (Lisa) Woodrum. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arvil and Helen Woodrum. Kathy was known as “Granny” to many, and she passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019, at the age of 69. Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage on Monday, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
