Kenneth William Pfetsch

Kenneth William Pfetsch, 86, of Mason, Ohio, passed away in his home on Friday, March 24th, 2017 with his wife by his side.

The memorial service will be held on Monday, April 17th, 2017 at St. Suzanna Church located on 616 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040. Visitation will be held at 10am with a prayer service immediately following at 11am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hodapp Funeral Homes.

Ken was born in Buffalo, New York on August 17th, 1930. He was a very proud veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Korean War. Ken was one of the nicest people you could ever meet and would smile in a way that would light up the room.   No matter what Ken was facing he greeted everyone with a hug, a handshake and a smile.   Everyone that met Ken loved him.

Ken was happily married to Nancy Carol Pfetsch on November 14th, 1998; they were married 18 years.

Ken is survived by his wife, Nancy Carol Pfetsch, children Amy (Doug) Doores, John (Joann) Pfetsch, Kimberly (Chris) Pevehouse, Gail (Jayson) Chamberlain, Debbie (Chris) Moore and Lisa (Mike) Littell. He was Grandpa to many grandchildren whom he loved very much.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents George Frederick Pfetsch and Alice Elizabeth Pfetsch (Schuster), and George Pfetsch, his brother.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.

The family of Kenneth William Pfetsch wishes to also thank Fresenius Kidney Care Center, Warren County Transit, and Grace Hospice for their care and compassion for Ken over the past several years.

Those who wish to attend; there will be a lunch gathering at the Church immediately following the service.
