Louise May Harper

Louise May Harper 87, dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away August 3, 2018. She was born September 7, 1930 in Cincinnati, OH to Benjamin Harrison Farmer and Elsie Louise Farmer (nee Golightly). She spent her childhood moving between Cincinnati and South Eastern Missouri. She graduated from Western Hills High School.

After high school she married Donald Lee Estes and later they had 3 children, Donna Lee Stothfang (Ken), Rick Lee Estes (Gail), and Cathy Lee Hammond (Doug).

She has 6 grandchildren: Jessica Stothfang Johnson (Eric), Alexander Stothfang (Rachael), Elizabeth Stothfang Herrin (Nicklas), Jeff Estes (Maria), Julie Estes McLaren (Jim), and SammyJo Hammond.

Louise has 11 great-grandchildren: Abigail Johnson, Lillian Johnson, Ana Stothfang, Robert Herrin, Andrew Herrin, Lorelei Schulte, Billy Schulte, Colin Estes, Laila McLaren, and Thomas McLaren. She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Matthew Johnson.

For 23 years she has been married to Billy Harper Sr. They enjoyed all forms of dancing, Caribbean cruising, and traveling North and South America. Bill has one son, Billy Harper Jr (Joann).

After graduating high school, Louise became a secretary at Lunkenheimers. She was very proficient in typing, taking dictation, and short hand.   She also worked at Knodel Tygrett company and she was executive secretary to the vice president of United States Playing Card Company. Later in life she did office work for Cincinnati Natural Foods.

She is well loved and will be missed by all.

Louise is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

A graveside service will be held at Arlington Cemetery on Friday August 10 at 2:00PM. Family and friends, please meet at the Arlington Cemetery community center at 1:30PM. A celebration of life will be held at 4:00PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7118 Dutchland Parkway, Liberty Township, Ohio 45044.
