I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I have many great memories of playing with “little Maria” and getting to know a bit of a different culture. Maria was also a wonderful Girl Scout leader! Many fun times. I would see her at Mass when we took my mother-in-law, always said I would stop to visit her. I wish I had😢. I’m praying for your family.

Shocked and saddened by this news; my deep condolences to all the Fedyks. Maria was a great friend and support to my Mom, and to our whole family after the deaths of our parents. I got to know her better in her last years, when she shared stories of Girls Town. So smart, funny, loving and resilient. The world has lost a dear soul.

My deepest condolences to the Fedyk family. Maria was a blessing to my family in so many ways for so many, many years. Maria was like a second mother to me growing up, spending so much time at the house on North Bend Road and roaming the nearby fields, woods and grounds of Girls Town. Your mother always made me feel like a part of the family, and her love was everywhere in that house. Maria was one of my mother’s best friends for decades. She was there whenever my Mom needed a shoulder to lean on, and especially after my dad passed away. And then she was there for the rest of us after my Mom passed away three years ago. Such a tremendous life! She will be missed.

You my sweet friend will forever be in my heart and memory. All the times we shared a drink, traveled and laughed til we cried. I will be sad when I look across the street and know you are not there. Give Audra a hug and be good up there. Love you and miss you sooo much.

We offer our deepest sympathy for your loss. Marina was a kind and devout lady. We too enjoyed her childhood stories and those about her children and family. When we were in Florida we enjoyed celebrating her Birthday with her at the Marina. We felel privileged to have gotten to know her and Joe and Amy. She was so proud of all of her children and family. She had a rough start as a child, but as a whole enjoyed a wonderful life. She will be missed.

We were so very sad to hear about Maria. She was a wonderful lady and we were privileged to have spent time with her in Florida. She made us laugh, was an amazing cook, a fun shopping companion and a proud mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. I personally will miss her serenade of “happy birthday “ in Lithuanian. May God give you all comfort in this sad time.
