HARMON, Ronald J. former husband and longtime companion of Kathy Meyer and former husband of Jane Harmon. Loving father of Ron, Mike (Sharon), Doug, Tom, David (Joann), Renata (Tim) Walsh and Amy (Jason) Lesko. Grandfather of Tyler, Lauren, Hayley, Hannah, Julia, Naomi, Campbell, Dominic, Elliott, Phoebe and Gianna. Brother of Wilbur (Georgia) Harmon. Uncle of Bill (Lisa) and Dana Harmon. Ron was a longtime coach and official for various sports, started NCH SAY soccer, advocate for youth, cat lover and was on the Board of Education for NCH and Great Oaks. Ron passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the age of 81. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, College Hill, 45224 from 4:00 PM until 7:30 PM. Service on Saturday, October 5 at 9:30 AM at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald J. Harmon Scholarship Fund c/o Fifth Third Bank, 6800 Hamilton Avenue, 45224. My most sincere sympathies for your loss. I met Ron at P&G while working as a contractor. He was one of the nicest and most down to earth people I have ever met. He was truly one of the "good guys". Have thought about him often and wish we could have got together again before his passing.

Sincere healing thoughts and prayers to all Rons family and know that he is at peace with all and God. He was truly a class man, father, grandfather and sports official. A lot of fond memories with my older cousin, Ron. My mom, Ruth Frank Radel thought the world of Ron. He was one of her favorite nephews. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Dear Harmon Family: Rog and I loved Ron so much and all of you. From the time Tog became one of the kids at the park where Ron was head of the sports recreation for summer recreation. Then all those years of going to the basketball and football games. The years of watching your sons, OJ, Bill and all those games inbetween. Frisch's, Perkins, Hall of Fames. Ron, thanks for ALL you did for all the youth in NCH and your community spirit !! Hope you guys from Betts Park in heaven play a pick up game!! Love forever my friend! I will miss our talks !!!!
