Agnes F. Reilly (nee Paul)

January 20, 1931 — November 10, 2022

Cincinnati

Agnes F. Reilly (nee Paul) passed peacefully to her long-earned reward on November 10, 2022. Aggie was the beloved high school sweetheart and wife for 57 years of the late Thomas J. Reilly (Himself) until his passing in 2010.  She was a very hard-working, and loving mother of eight boys, a supportive and understanding mother-in-law to their wives, an especially proud and fun-loving Grandma of 45 and “GG” to another 39 (with six more on the way)!

Born Jan. 20,1931 to William V. and Hedwig Paul in New York, she was a dear sister of William Paul, Terry Clark and Florence Kelly, as well as an aunt to many nieces and nephews and friend to many hundreds more.

She moved “west” to Cincinnati with her young family in the 1950’s. Besides her obviously busy family life, Agnes was a long-time active member of St. Clare Parish, school volunteer, St. Xavier Mother’s Club member and an active sports fan. She returned to school and earned her real estate license in the 1980’s and worked for her own ‘pocket money’ for a while.

Agnes was always at her happiest in church and with family, especially at Baptisms, First Communions, graduations, weddings, holidays, and the annual Reilly Beach week where she continued to brave trips into the ocean as recently as this past June. She was an incredible example of Catholic Christian faith, grace, and dignity to the very end. While the numbers in her legacy are impressive, her lifelong example of embracing faith and family have forever enhanced the lives of many more.

Her surviving sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren include:
