Alexander Charles Reynolds

October 6, 1999 — March 5, 2024

Alex Reynolds age 24, a graduate of Sycamore High School, class of 2018, and Butler Tech in 2022, Maintenance Tech Program, passed away suddenly on March 5, 2024. Alex was such a shining light in so many peoples lives. He always had a joke or a witty remark for everyone. Alex loved collecting rocks and old coins. He also was very interested in military history. You could always find him on his laptop chatting with friends or deep in a game. He was helpful to anyone who asked, and very generous with anything he could give. Everyone who met him, loved him. He was so many things to so many people that knew him: Son, Grandson, Brother, Cousin, Friend. His sense of humor and personality are truly missed. He was so deeply loved that he has left an emptiness that will never be filled. We would give anything to have him back.

Son of Lesley Steele and Brady Reynolds. Stepson of Tom Gallagher. Grandson of Tim and Pat Steele, Bruce and Jan Reynolds. Brother to Josie, Maria, Lily, Makenzie, Talia, and Layla. Nephew to Jen and Aaron John, Carolyn Steele, and Jason Reynolds. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday March 8, 2024 from 5-7 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069

We Thought of You Today

We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.

We thought about you yesterday and days before that too.

We think of you in silence, we often speak your name.

All we have now are memories and your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake with whom we will never part.

We have you in our keeping, we have you in our hearts.

If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still.

In our hearts you hold a place, no one else can ever fill.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone,

for a part of us went with you the day left home.
