Tom enjoyed riding his motorcycles which he had many over the course of his lifetime, and often having three at one time. He enjoyed seeing the country on his bike with his wife Ina, friends, and sometimes alone. Not only his love of riding the bikes, he could repair any bike to make them “purr”. Tom was a jack of all trades, which he proved in flipping over 12 houses with Ina and being the neighborhood handyman to call when anything needed repaired. Tom also enjoyed smoking cigars with his Tuesday “Cigar Club” and with son in law and grandson. For added enjoyment he would sometimes include a glass of bourbon. Tom did not know a stranger. He would talk to anyone about anything and everything, and in his mind, was always right! Tom also loved participating in auctions and would brag about the bargains he got, especially after he added a $5 part and reselling it for 10x what he paid.
The most important thing to Tom was the love of family. He loved attending family birthday events, holidays with family, and extended family reunions, and was thrilled when he knew the “cousins” were getting together. But the love of his wife Ina and his three children were his most valued treasure.
