Ambrose A. Hauser

March 31, 1943 — July 7, 2021

On Wednesday July 7th, Ambrose Andreas Hauser, loving husband, father of three children and grandfather of 7 children, passed away at the age of 78.  Ambrose was born on March 31, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ to Anton and Josephine Hauser.  He received dual masters degrees in aerospace engineering and business administration from The University of Cincinnati and Xavier University respectively, and spent his career passionately designing and building jet engines.  On June 4, 1965 he married Judith, and together they raised a daughter and two sons. Ambrose loved bragging about his children and grandchildren.  He and Judith traveled the world, often times taking his family with him to experience new cultures, great food and the pleasures of family time.  He spent his career pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology, and even in retirement, kept up with aviation breakthroughs. Ambrose was preceded in death by his father Anton and his mother Josephine.  He is survived by his wife Judith, his three children Gretchen (Jay Watkins), Andrew (Bess) and Peter (Kimberly), and seven grandchildren Pierson, Josephine, Georgia, Margaret, Maxwell, James and August. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday July 12, 2021 at St. James of the Valley Catholic Church at 411 Springfield Pike, Wyoming, OH.  There will be a visitation in advance of the mass starting at 9:30 am at St. James of the Valley.  The burial will be immediately following at Oak Hill Cemetery.
