Angela Kay Sullivan

Angela Kay Sullivan, 50, of Monroe, Ohio, passed away on December 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend, Angela’s warmth and faith touched everyone who knew her.

Born on April 14, 1975, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Angela was the beloved daughter of Marilyn Gamble and the late William Gamble. From an early age, she displayed a boundless creativity and compassion that would define her life’s path. Her calling to care for others led her to a career as a school nurse at Creekview Elementary, where her gentle presence and unwavering dedication brought comfort to countless students and colleagues.

Angela married the love of her life, Michael Sullivan, with whom she shared 23 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a home full of laughter, faith, and love, raising their two children, Abigail and Zachary, of whom Angela was endlessly proud.

She loved life deeply and lived it with grace. Her faith in Jesus guided her in all that she did, and her heart for people—especially those in need—was evident in her daily acts of kindness. Angela found peace and joy in her garden, nurturing her flowers with the same care she extended to everyone around her. Always crafting, creating, and finding beauty in the ordinary, she had an unmatched gift for making any space, and any person, feel special.

Angela is survived by her husband, Michael; her children, Abigail and Zachary; and her mother, Marilyn Gamble. She was preceded in death by her father, William Gamble and sister Ada Maria Gamble.

Visitation will be held on December 16 from 5–7 p.m., followed by a funeral service on December 17 at 11 a.m. at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., Liberty Township, Ohio 45044. All are welcome to celebrate Angela’s beautiful life and enduring spirit.
