Angelina Schmidt

Angelina (Dede) Helen Schmidt , nee Zamichiei, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Born to Joseph and Helen Zamichiei on August 19,1929 in Elmwood Place, Ohio. She married "Gene" Schmidt in 1950. Raising their 4 children in Silverton, they became devout members of St John the Evangelist Parish, making lifelong friends. She and Gene later moved to The Lodge Retirement Home where they continued to live an active life. She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband and her brother, Joseph Krey. She is survived by her children, Cindy Silver (Paul), Mark Schmidt (Debbie), DeAnn Gilmore (Doug) and Steve Schmidt (Wendy). She also leaves behind grandchildren, Joanna Silver, Julia Treanor, Jessica McNamara, Ian Gilmore, Scot Gilmore, Celina Malone, Jenna Schmidt, Logan Schmidt, Ryan Schmidt and 8 great grandchildren..

 

Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45216, on Saturday, February 5^th, 2022 from 10:30-11:00. Followed by a prayer service. The family will then proceed to the cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati. Condolences may be made at hodappfuneralhome.com
