Anna M Kohstall

Kohstall, Anna (née Mescall) was born on December 26, 1922, in Covington, and passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 4, 2026. Anna lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, family, and countless cherished memories. She was a woman of kindness, strength, and grace who touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her gentle nature, caring heart, and endless devotion to her family.

Loving mother of David, Marianne (Jerry) Schaefer, and Susan. Dear grandmother of Todd (Lisa) Schaefer, Julie Schaefer, Anne (Brian) Hoffman, Greg Schaefer, Sarah Schaefer, Chuck (Kellie) Kohstall, John (Taylor) Kohstall, Patty Kohstall, and Frank (Olivia) Kohstall. Dear great-grandmother of Ashley (Jason) Hollmann, Lexy (CJ) Fleming, Haley Hoffman, Sammi Hoffman, Landon Schaefer, Will Schaefer, Audree Schaefer, Hudson Schaefer, Jake Schaefer, Emma Kohstall, Isabel Kohstall, Lexington Kohstall, Xavier Kohstall, Archer Kohstall, Nina Kohstall, Eli Kohstall, and Eamon Kohstall. Dear great-great-grandmother of Charleigh Hollmann, Louis Hollmann, Collins Fleming, Walter Hollmann, and Crew Fleming.

She was preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed her home, including her beloved husband, Charles P. Kohstall; her daughter, Marianne Schaefer; and her siblings, Rose, Jules, Jim, and Russell.

She witnessed tremendous change over her 103 years, yet remained a steady source of comfort, wisdom, and love to those around her. Her life was truly a blessing, and her legacy will live on through the generations she leaves behind, who will continue to honor her memory each day. She was truly a rare individual who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Tuesday May 12, 2026 at St Ann Church 2900 W. Galbraith Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45239

Memorial Visitation will be held 11AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM.
