Barbara Ellen Stamper

Our beloved Mother went to her enteral home on August 11, 2023 in Princeton, West Virginia.  She was born to Eadora and Dallas Ludenburg in Maysville, KY on April 5, 1940.  She was 83.

When she was younger, she enjoyed traveling and finally setting roots in Cincinnati, OH for many years.  She was a homemaker and loved to care for her family.  She survived three husbands: R. Wilson Terry Sr., Charles “Chuck” Smallwood, and Richard “Rick” Greene.

She was a wonderful Mother to her five children, two of which preceded her in death: Kathy Reynolds and R. Wilson Terry Jr.  Her surviving children who will cherish her memory are Deborah “Debbie” Terry Collins, Luna & Gary Hodges, and Sandra Allen.  She was blessed with her grandchildren, four of which preceded her in death: Amelia Myers, Julius Hodges, Mattie Collins, and Nevin Gamble.  Those grandchildren left to cherish her memory are John Mark & Samatha Collins, J. Sean and Autumn Mays Collins, April Steele, Randy Reynolds, Rusty Reynolds and Robert Reynolds, Teddy Dier, Joseph Dier, Gary Hodges Jr., Lissa & Rocky Hodges Hinkle, Toni Dier, Tati Canady, Evan Hodges, Wayne, Rachel, Barbara Rebecca ( named after mom), David Brown, Virginia Bales.  Desiree Castle  Lee Sawyer, and Anita Sawyer.  She has a HOST of great grandchildren as well and one great granddaughter that preceded her in death.

We will fondly remember her love and sage wisdom, we will remember her kindness, and her love of adventure.  We will catch you on the next rollercoaster, Grandma!  We love you!

Visitation will take place at the Hodapp Funeral Home at 7401 Vine Street, Carthage, Saturday from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am.
