Betty Jane Evans

Betty Jane Evans (nee Vonderhaar) passed away peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the age of 75.  She was born in Cincinnati to the late Clara and Paul Vonderhaar.  Betty was a devoted wife to Mark Evans for 28 years.  Loving mother of Mark Evans Jr. (Elizabeth) and James Evans (Deborah). Loving daughter-in-law of the late Raymond and Dorothy Evans.  Loving grandmother of Zachary, Chloe, Cayden, Maggie, Ben, Sam and Abby. Loving great grandmother of Blake. Dear sister of Theresa Winhusen (Bob), the late Clarence Vonderhaar (Marlene), Gene (Linda) Vonderhaar, Larry (Kathie) Vonderhaar, Bob (Carol) Vonderhaar, Dan (Connie) Vonderhaar , Allen (Kathy) Vonderhaar and the late Ron Vonderhaar. Sister-in-law to the late Carol and Ron Barker, the late Jim Evans (Tina), the late Pink Evans (Karen), Mike Evans, the late Kathleen and Dale Schumaker and Tom Evans (Jill, deceased).  Loving aunt to numerous nieces, nephews as well to many grand nieces and grand nephews. Betty was a great friend to many!

After retiring from Akers Packaging, Betty and Mark traveled often with friends and family. She also enjoyed painting, reading, making her infamous dirt cake and looking for a good bargain!  She especially loved family gatherings and trips to the beach.  Her endless love will endure in our hearts forever.

The memorial service will be held Monday, October 30^th, 2023 at The Community of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Road, Montgomery, OH at 10:30 a.m.
