Betty L. Powers, born on August 24, 1932, peacefully passed away on December 3, 2025, leaving behind a legacy defined by love and dedication to her family. A devoted homemaker, Betty played an instrumental role in holding her family together, creating a nurturing environment filled with warmth and kindness.
Throughout her life, Betty cherished her family above all else. She is survived by her beloved sons, Steve (Mary) Powers, Mike Powers, and Jeff Powers; as well as her daughter, Laura Meyer. Betty is Also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who were a source of immense joy and pride for her.
Betty’s kindhearted personality endeared her to many, and her warm spirit will be remembered fondly by those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a passion for reading and was an avid supporter of the UK Wildcats, enjoying countless moments cheering passionately for her team.
Betty was predeceased by her husband, Ples Powers, with whom she shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership, a union that served as a model for their family.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on December 10, 2025, at Hodapp Funeral Homes in West Chester, Ohio, beginning at 10:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM. The funeral service will follow from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, leading into her burial at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Cincinnati at 1:15 PM.
