MOEDDEL, Bishop Carl K., loving son of the late Carl H. and Florence Moeddel, dear brother of Marianne Gillis, Greta (the late Ken) Meiners and the late Cheryl Moeller, brother-in-law of Ralph (Connie) Moeller, known as Uncle Bud to his seven nieces and nephews. Born December 28, 1937, ordained a priest August 15, 1962, ordained a bishop August 24, 1993, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 25, 2009, age 71. Reception of the body at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral, 8th and Plum, Downtown, Friday 6:30 p.m. followed by visitation until 9:00 p.m. Visitation also on Saturday from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to C.I.S.E.
