Candace Dana Reichle, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on January 30, 1947, to Virgil and Jean Lozier. Candace graduated from Finneytown HS in 1966 and went to work at REA Express. In 1970, she married Phil. She spent her life creating a home filled with love, laughter, and memories that will be treasured forever. She was a woman who found joy in the simple things—sitting on her front porch, feeding the birds, watching the world around her, and most of all, cuddling her grandbabies.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Philip.

Candace was a devoted mother to Robb (Heather) , Kelly (Josh), Brittany (Jason), Casey (Crystal), and Chad (Amy). Her greatest joy was being a grandmother to Kaelie, Jackson, Chase, Brennan, Corbin, Colette, Wren, Cora, and Camryn. Her grandchildren brought a special kind of happiness to her life, and she cherished every cuddle, every visit, and every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Richmond and Lesa (Colin) Stith; her many beloved nieces and nephews; and countless family members and friends whose lives she touched.

Among those who knew her best was her lifelong best friend, Vicki Drinnen. Their friendship, was a testament to the lasting love and loyalty Candace brought to the relationships that mattered most to her.

Candace had a way of making the people she loved feel loved. Whether it was a hug, a moment on the porch, or her familiar words, “Love you, Punkin’,” she made sure you knew you were special to her.

She loved ladybugs, daisies, ice tea, hooded sweatshirts, hearts , palm trees and she was rarely far from her sunglasses. Those little pieces of Candace will forever bring smiles to the people who loved her.

Her family will miss her deeply—the sound of her voice, her hugs, her porch, her stories, and the warmth of simply being near her. But they will carry her love with them, in the traditions she created, the memories she gave them, and in the love she poured into every generation of her family.

Candace leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her children, grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at St. Clare Church, 1443 Cedar Avenue, College Hill, 45224 from 10 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
