Carol Ann (McKenzie) Born, age 88, died peacefully on July 19. Her beloved husband of 56 years, Gil Born, died on July 10. Carol had a remarkable career in the technology field, beginning long before the widespread use of computers. From her start as a keypunch operator at General Electric, she advanced along with the technology at Control Data and Structural Dynamics Corporations as a computer programmer and systems analyst. As a female, Carol was a trailblazer in a male-dominated industry.

Carol was the eldest of five children, preceded in death by her brothers John (Mary) McKenzie and Jim (Betsy) McKenzie. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Ann (late Tom) Drahman and Judy (late Ron) Regenhold, along with many nieces and nephews.

To celebrate Carol and Gil, family and friends are invited to a memorial program and casual luncheon to be held on Friday, August 14, 12noon at Clovernook Country Club, 2035 W. Galbraith Rd, Cincinnati 45239.
