Carol Marie Timmons

Carol Marie Timmons (nee Hinen), passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 27, 2021, at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Timmons.
Carol is survived by her three children and their spouses Kevin and Debbie Timmons, Jackie and Tom Powell and Lesley and Todd Mitchell, all of Ohio, and by 8 grandchildren, Angela, Michael, Sister Anne (Gwen), Matt, Claire, Elyse, Joshua, and Andrew, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Carol was the daughter of the late Clarence and Doris (nee Miller) Hinen, and the sister of Vernon (Arlene) Hinen and Sandra (late John) Cropper.
She and her husband met and were married in the Fort Wayne area of Indiana, and raised their family in Norwalk, Ohio. She and her husband Bob established the Pizza Post in 1975, and operated the Hitching Post and Pizza Post until the mid 1990’s. After Bob's passing in 1992, Carol relocated to Fort Wayne. Last March she moved back to Ohio and enjoyed the time that she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren. Carol's family will always remember her love of decorating for the Holidays, and the wonderful meals she prepared.
She will be interred next to her late husband at a private graveside service to be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Norwalk, OH.
