In Loving Memory of Carolyn Ann Turner

Carolyn Ann Turner, 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2024. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and dedicated educator, Carolyn leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, warmth, and kindness she showered upon her family and friends

Carolyn earned her B.A. in education from Edgecliff College and later achieved her M.Ed. in Special Education from the University of Cincinnati. She devoted more than 35 years of her life to her students in both parochial and public schools, teaching and serving as a dedicated educator committed to the growth and development of her students.

In addition to her professional achievements, Carolyn was known for her incredible strength, faith, and love for her family and friends. Her family affectionately referred to her as 'MomCat,' and her special warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Carolyn is survived by her three sons, Jeffrey (Elena), Brian (Alisa), and Kevin, along with her four cherished grandchildren, Kyle, Ethan, Elizabeth, Addison, and great-grandson Achilles. She also leaves behind her dear brother, James Flaig, and his wife, Carole. Carolyn is reunited with her beloved brother, John "Jack" Flaig, and her parents, Mary and Oscar Flaig, in eternal peace.

A funeral mass to celebrate Carolyn's life will be held on Friday, February 9, at St. Ignatius Church at 11 AM.  In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Carolyn's favorite charity, in her memory.

We invite all those who knew and loved Carolyn Turner to join us in honoring her remarkable life. Her memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.
