Cathy Yost Beiting

November 24, 1951 — February 6, 2022

Cathy Yost Beiting was gloriously received in Heaven on February 6 2022. She passed in West Chester, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family.

Cathy Beiting was born and raised in Newark, Ohio, the daughter of the late Bill and Helen Yost. Cathy joins her husband, Joseph Beiting, in Heaven. Those left to cherish Cathy’s memories are children J.D. Beiting, Shelly Beiting, Jason Schloss, and Sara Schloss; granddaughters Taylor Schloss, Rylee Jo Schloss, Annabelle Beiting, and Libby Beiting; siblings Janet and Bill Maney and Laurie and Tom Clements; and a large, loving, and supportive contingent of sisters and brothers in law, nieces and nephews.

Cathy attended Newark High School, then the University of Cincinnati for undergraduate and graduate studies. She had a thirty-three year career at Hoxworth Blood Center as a technician, teacher and mentor.

She was a woman of deep faith. She was a member at Crestview Presbyterian Church of West Chester, Ohio and served her Lord in many ways. Many were positively affected by her faith.

Cathy had a wide network of friends, especially her Alpha Chi Omega sorority sisters. She had close friends at work, her book club, church, and in Harrison, OH. Cathy loved to entertain the Beiting women, friends, and other family at her Apple Valley lakehouse.

Cathy was a die-hard fan of Ohio State Football, UC Basketball, and her kids’ and granddaughters’ athletics. She will see to it that the Bengals win the Super Bowl on Sunday. A dog lover, Cathy is survived by Buddy, her enormous Bernie-Doodle. Cathy loved anything red, had a sweet tooth, was her high school Homecoming Queen, and was a natural beauty.

Cathy’s memorial service will be held on February 10, 2022 at Crestview Presbyterian Church at 9463 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd, West Chester OH 45069. A visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. All are welcome for a celebration of life luncheon after the service.

Donations can be made to Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, 375 Dixmyth Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45220. https://www.trihealth.com/foundations/good-samaritan-hospital-foundation
