Christel M. Ross, resident of Loveland, OH, (formerly West Chester OH) born November 20, 1929 passed away on May 25, 2021 at 91 years old.
Christel known to her family as Mom or Oma was beloved wife of the late Heinz Ross (passed in 2010); loving mother of Ursula (Ron) Meyer of Loveland, OH; Erwin (Mona) Ross of Arvada, CO.; Andrew (Susan) Ross of Waterford, MI.
She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Erica (Jeff) Lacefield, Andreas (Abbey) Ross, Jasmine (Chad) Smith, Ryan (Cassie) Ross, Katrina (Brandon) Ross along with her great grandchildren Gibson, Josie, Logan, Emily, Bryant, Mason.
Christel was born in Muehlen, Ostpreussen Germany and married Heinz on December 26, 1948. Their journey together brought them to America in 1956. They resided and raised their wonderful family in Westchester OH since 1965.
Christel was the paper lady to her 800 customers which involved her children’s help. She enjoyed seeing customers once she retired that would say “you were our paper lady.”
Her most joy was her family, with each and every visit from all brought times of laughter, joy, homemade German food and family stories.
She will be reunited with her husband Heinz at West Chester TWP Cemetery, 6425 West Chester Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45069.
Due Covid-19 virus restrictions, a private service for the family only will be held on May 29, 2021 at Hodapp Funeral Home in West Chester, Ohio.
