Christopher Dale Perry, 52, passed away at home after an extended illness on Friday, Dec. 3, surrounded by his loving wife and three daughters.
Chris was born to Lillian and Delano Perry in Cincinnati on March 11, 1969. He graduated from Norwood High School in 1987, continued to Cincinnati State Technical and Community College ('89), and began working in the information technology field with IBM. His career allowed him to travel throughout the country, and to satisfy a lifelong passion to learn and experience new things.
He was a devoted husband to his wife Michelle, and a loving father to their daughters Jessie, Hayley, and Sydney, who will fondly remember him as “Doose.” Chris took great pride in coaching his daughters’ soccer teams and performing with his band 10 Miles High. He loved to take his family on summer vacations to Destin, Fla., where they would spend days relaxing on the beach and swimming in the ocean.
His loved ones will remember him for his love of family, music, history, space, and adventure.
He is survived by his wife Michelle Perry (nee Stigall); daughters Jessie (Eric) Gorny, Hayley Perry, and Sydney Perry; mother Lillian Perry; brother Jeff Perry, and best friend Joe Murray, among numerous other relatives and close friends.
Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, beginning at noon. A funeral service is at 2 p.m. Flowers may be sent to the Hodapp Funeral Home.
