Christopher Scott Owen

Christopher Scott Owen entered this world on August 4, 1974 in Cincinnati. He passed away suddenly on October 12, 2025. Chris was the beloved son of Mary Beth Lachmann and Michael Owen, and stepson of Eugene Lachmann. He leaves behind his sister Amy Owen {Brad Winkeljohn}, Steven Owen {Dana}, Matthew Owen (Kelly}, and stepbrother Charles Douglas {Kelly}. He is also survived by his nieces; Isabella, Emma, Elise, and Marisa, and nephews; Zavier, Elijah, and Erik. He had numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Chris loved sports and he was an excellent pool player, an avid Reds and Red Sox fan, and loved watching the Bengals. He graduated from Lakota High School in 1992. Throughout his life, he worked as a chef in various restaurants.

There will be a visitation on October 25 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd. from 11am to 1pm. We will celebrate his life at 2 pm at his younger brother, Matt Owen’s home. We will all miss his giving spirit and caring ways.
