Clarence was a devoted family man. His grandchildren were the pride of his life. He was the example of open arms, never ending love and a heart of gold for his family. There was no distance, or obstacles that could keep him from them regardless of when they called. He was a captivating storyteller that could mesmerize any audience for hours whether it was about his time in service or tells from the hills. From the moment he met you he never forgot a detail. Whether it was a date, or a favorite drink, you knew he cared. He was a diligent worker from the time he woke until he settled in at home with his family late at night. There was never a moment he didn’t find something to “piddle” with. With a 100 projects going at a time, he finally gets to say, his work is done.
