It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Clifford Joseph Brown on October 24, 2026.
Cliff lived a life defined by love, laughter, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to his family and friends. He was the kind of man who always showed up. Whether someone needed a helping hand, a ride home, words of encouragement, or simply someone to count on, he was there. He lived his life putting others first and found his greatest joy in caring for the people he loved.
A proud graduate of Thomas More College, Cum Laude, Cliff carried a strong work ethic throughout his life. He dedicated nearly 50 years of service to Liebel-Flarsheim, where he earned the respect and friendship of countless colleagues through his loyalty, commitment, and integrity. He also proudly served for many years as a firefighter with the Colerain Township Fire Department, answering the call to help others and exemplifying the selflessness that defined his life.
Known for his quick wit, generous heart, and steadfast loyalty, Cliff had a gift for turning ordinary moments into lasting memories. He loved making people laugh, creating adventures for his family, and ensuring that those around him felt safe, supported, and deeply loved.
Above all else, Cliff cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to Bettie for 41 wonderful years, a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He treasured time spent with his family, whether on vacations, fishing trips, sleepovers with his grandchildren, or simple moments together at home. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and joy to those fortunate enough to know him.
Cliff is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth "Bettie" Brown; his children, Sarah Howe (JT), Valerie Brown, Victoria Paskowitz (Dan), Matthew Brown, and Jennifer Weideman; his beloved grandchildren, Will Howe, Mason Howe, Lauren Shafer (James), and Owen Weideman; his mother, Phyllis Brown; his brothers, Charles Brown (Tina) and Christopher Brown (Leann); his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Duncan and Deborah Schatzel; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Brown.
While our hearts are broken by his loss, we are grateful for the countless memories he leaves behind. Cliff showed us that life is not measured by the years we live, but by the love we give, the memories we create, and the people we hold close. What we wouldn't give to hear his voice one more time, share one more laugh, or receive one more hug.
Though he will be missed every day, his legacy lives on in the stories we tell, the traditions we continue, the fishing lines we cast, the laughter we share, and the love that binds our family together.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. West Chester, OH 45069 from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:30 a.m. The burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
