Daniel Wayne Hatfield

Daniel Wayne Hatfield passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 under the care of hospice at the age of 56 years old. He was born on March 26, 1966 in Cincinnati, OH. Dan is preceded in death by his parents Herley Hatfield, Sr. and Vergie (Johnson) Hatfield.

Beloved husband of Deanna Jarrett Hatfield for 29 years, loving father to Derek Hatfield (partner, Aaron Brewer) and Danielle Hatfield (fiancé, Nicholas Spaulding). Dearest brother of Herley Hatfield, Jr. (Debbie Cope Hatfield) and Joseph Hatfield. Cherished son-in-law to Connie Jarrett and the late Ray Jarrett and brother-in-law to Tara Jarrett White (Craig White). Caring uncle to several nieces and nephews. Poppy to multiple dogs and cats over the years.

Dan was a mechanic for UPS Freight for 32 years. Dan loved to spend time with his family on his back porch. He loved to watch the Bengals and Reds while running his fantasy teams in his man cave. He also enjoyed playing golf, fishing, racing RC cars, playing cards and board games. And if you knew Dan well, you also knew that he loved to argue and debate! He had a great love for music and was a talented musician. Dan was a hard worker and was proud of what he accomplished with his hands. Dan was a God-fearing man and knew that his end goal was to spend eternity with Jesus.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd., West Chester, OH 45069, from 9:30 until time of funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery in Liberty Twp., OH.
