David (Dave) Forest was born on January 18, 1965 and joined the Lord on June 18, 2026 at the age of 61.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Clifford and Judith Forest, Dave was a devoted husband, father, gpa, brother, and friend. He was the beloved husband of Renee, who preceded him in death.
Dave was a proud and loving father to Cassie, Chelsea (Cody), Parker (Lacey), Savannah, and Grace, and a deeply cherished Gpa to Isabella, Lucas, Emerson, and Charlie. He also had two “favorite children,” the family dogs, Rosie and Shiloh, who brought him endless joy.
He was the cherished brother of Angie (Mike), Teresa (Jay), Michelle (Jay), and Mike (Stephanie), and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
Dave was raised in Forest Park, Ohio and graduated from Greenhills High School. He went on to dedicate 37 years of service to Duke Energy, where he held a variety of roles, most recently serving as a Supervisor for Gas Customer Field Operations. Through his work, he made a lasting impact not only within the company, but on his coworkers and the community he faithfully served.
In 2018, Dave was diagnosed with cancer. Over the next eight years, he faced every challenge with courage, resilience, and unwavering faith.
Dave was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and generous heart—he was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He lived a full and meaningful life rooted in his love for God, his family, and his friends. His presence brought light, laughter, and steadiness to those around him, and his legacy will continue in the lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be announced soon. Please check back for updates.
