Donald Hines

Donald Hines, Sr, 69 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed peacefully with his family by his side on December 18, 2025.

Donald was born to Nancy (Schwierjohann) and William Hines on November 25, 1956 in Ft Thomas, Kentucky. Donald was surrounded by a large family with 9 brothers and sisters. Donald graduated from Roger Bacon High School in 1974. He worked at Grote Bakery for many years, and then worked at the Post Office in Downtown Cincinnati for many years until he retired in 2004.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and Williams Hines, his two brothers, Ken Hines and Tom Hines. He is survived by his brothers, Bill (Sue) Hines, Mike (Rheda) Hines, Tim (Johanna) Hines, his sisters Jeanne (Jim) Harjo, Laura (Dave) Neiheisel, Connie (Mark) Blackburn, and Patti Evans. He is also survived by his children, Billy, Trisha (Jerry) Haskin, Donny, Brandy (Frank) Ebert, Bonnie (Jason) Meenach(Sipe) and all of his wonderful grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday December 22, 2025 from 10:00a.m. – 11:00a.m. with service immediately following at the Hodapp Funeral Home at 6401 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45224. Immediately following the service the burial will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery if you wish to attend.
