WHITAKER, Dora A., dear mother of Clifford (Cissy) Nix, Glen (Linda) Nix, Rosa (late Homer Lee “Mick”) Byrd, Charlie (Sue) Woodall, David (Sue) Woodall, and Dottie Whitaker – Mary and the late Jimmy R. Decker. Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Opal Van Landingham of Marion, IN, Faustine Wiles of Cincinnati and Clorine Graves of Brodhead, KY. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Age 87. Visitation at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Dora was a member of the Chimney Rock Baptist Church.
