Dorothy C. Eckhoff passed away peacefully on November 18th, 2022 at the age of 98.
Dorothy was the loving daughter of the late William F. and Anna J. (Feist) Eckhoff. She is preceded in death by her six siblings, Mary Jane (Jack) Gallenstein, Lawrence (Marilyn), Donald, Lois Ann, and William J. Eckhoff, Margaret (Richard) Addis and her nephew, Chopper Eckhoff.
Dorothy spent the majority of her working career in the ophthalmic manufacturing industry. She enjoyed transitioning her yard into beautiful gardens each year, family trips to Gatlinburg, TN and Colorado, taking care of her dogs, cheering on Cincinnati Sports Teams and her Catholic Faith. She was beloved by her 17 nieces and nephews, and made great effort to attend their graduations, weddings and family celebrations, including those of her great nieces and nephews.
Dorothy is survived by her sister-in-law Winifred Eckhoff, 16 nieces and nephews, 25 great nieces and nephews and many great great nieces & nephews.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 from 9:30 – 10:15am at St. Clare Catholic Church, 1443 Cedar Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio, followed by mass of Christian Burial at 10:15am. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, St. Bernard.
