On July 31, 1954, she married the love of her life, Earl Lee Frodge, at Holy Cross Church. Together they built a life filled with family, love, and cherished memories. Dorothy worked for many years at General Motors, and was known among family and friends for her effortless sense of style — always fashionable, no matter the occasion. She had a deep love for traveling and treasured the vacations she took with her family, creating memories that her loved ones will carry with them always.
Dorothy is survived by her three children: Beverly Ploetz, James Frodge, and Kenneth Frodge (Patti Frodge).
She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Emily Frankl, Thomas Ploetz (Rebecca Hopewell), Stephanie Makepeace (Matt Makepeace), Justin Frodge (Danielle Frodge), Kimberly Bernal (Alex Bernal), Katherine Frodge, and Alex Frodge.
She is further survived by her eight great-grandchildren: Anthony Frankl, Joseph Frankl, Kasey Ploetz, Logan Ploetz, Dean Makepeace, Miles Makepeace, Henry Bernal, and Audrey Bernal, all of whom she loved dearly.
Dorothy is also remembered by her surviving siblings, Marian Doll, William (Carole) Hoctor, Kathleen "Patricia" Fromme, and Daniel (Darlene) Hoctor, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lee Frodge; her parents, Edward and Lillian Hoctor; her brother, Edward Hoctor; and her sister, Mildred Ritter.
