Smith, Dorothy L. (nee Ballard), beloved mother of Gail (Preston) Sims, Dwayne Allen Smith, Billie Ann Roberts and Randall Lee Roberts. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Sister of Bob and Jack Ballard, Dolores Denardis, Myrtle Weiskettle and Wilbur Ballard. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Saturday, September 5, 2009, age 73. Dorothy was a resident of Northside. Visitation at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, on Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m.
