Dorothy Warren

Dorothy “Dottie” Lee Warren, age 83, was born in Sanford, North Carolina, on October 28, 1942, and peacefully entered the presence of the Lord on November 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, Ida and Guilford Patterson; her husband, Charles Warren; her sister, Margaret Campbell; and her brother, Wilbert Patterson. She is survived by her brother, Milton Patterson, and sister, Judy Stone; her children, Sue (Bob) Franz, Jim (Lisa) Friend, and Sonya (Jeff) Klaas; her grandchildren, Eric (Emma) Franz, Heidi (Xander) Reynolds, Justin (Becky) Friend, Brandon (Sydnie) Friend, Derek Klaas, and Amanda Klaas; and six cherished great-grandchildren.

Dottie worked for several years at the Altenheim Retirement Community as an Elderly Companion, touching many lives with her kindness. She was a loving and dedicated wife to her husband of 34 years, Charlie Warren. Together, they shared daily Bible reading and prayer, lifting up their family with gratitude and faith. Some of their happiest moments were spent on the front porch, enjoying coffee or iced tea and sharing conversations with family and neighbors.

After moving to Lebanon, Ohio, in 2012, Dottie became a devoted member of Stratford Heights Church of God for 13 years. She joyfully participated in church life, including Sunday School and serving faithfully as a Greeter. A woman of unwavering faith, Dottie was known for her love of Jesus and her commitment to prayer.

Above all, Dottie’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she poured endless love into each of them. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and steadfast faith will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held at Stratford Heights Church of God, 4419 Nelson Rd, Middletown, OH 45042, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1pm.
