Dudley William "Bill" Mowery, Jr., age 60, loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, passed to his Eternal Reward on Tuesday morning, September 17, 2024, at the Hospice of Cincinnati in Anderson Township Care Center, with his wife and mother at his side. He passed away in a moment of peace after a heroic battle with cancer for just over a year. Bill was born January 19, 1964, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the eldest son of the late Dudley William Mowery, Sr. and JoAnn Mowery (née Ashbrook). He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Tracy Lynn Mowery (née Sturgill), his cherished son Logan Philip Mowery, his loving mother JoAnn Mowery, his two younger brothers, David (Dawn) and Daniel (Tara) Mowery, his parents-in-law Ralph and Judith Sturgill, his sister-in-law Kelli (Chris) Nicoloff, and his two nieces Aspen Barbro and Sophia Nicoloff. Bill was an avid lover of the outdoors. He was employed with the Great Parks of Hamilton County (formerly the Hamilton County Park District) for 37 years before retiring in 2020 as Chief of Guest Experiences. He also ran his own photography studio for several years. On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 12 pm, a funeral Committal service officiated by Deacon Timothy Schutte will be held at the Gate of Heaven Chapel, Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
