Elaine Sue Rigsby

Elaine Sue Rigsby, 80, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away on September 3rd after battling lung cancer.

She was born on August 22, 1942, to Irene and J.B. Fergason in Salineville, Ohio. Upon retiring from the West Chester Police Records Department, Elaine enjoyed honing her skills as a seamstress, gardener, baker, and crafter, as well as doting on her beloved family and grandchildren.

Elaine is survived by her daughters Tracey Carson and Christine Hibbard, grandchildren Katie Carson and Evan Carson, brotherRichard Fergason and his wife Tera Fergason, nephew Nat Fergason and his wife Jodie Fergason, and niece Julie Kaye Armour and her husband Eric Armour.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and J.B.Fergason and her sister, Sonya Rose.

Memorial Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 10 AM until time of service at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the ASPCA or American Lung Association.
