Betty Jane McClements Pawlosky passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in her home in Hamilton, Ohio at the graceful age of 97.
Betty was born on October 17, 1927 in the East End of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Betty attended Peabody High School in Pittsburgh. She began working after High School as a bookkeeper at just 19 years of age and later worked as a tour guide at Heinz. Her early independence, quiet determination, and strong work ethic were defining qualities throughout her life.
Betty married the love of her life, Frank Pawlosky MD with whom she shared more than 60 years of marriage. Together they built a life in Mt Lebanon, Pennsylvania before relocating in later years to Hamilton, Ohio, to be close to their daughter and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank, her parents John and Gertrude McClements, and her sister Ann McIlwain. She is survived by her daughter Suzanne Pawlosky Grevey; son Mark McKinney; grandchildren Kristen Anderson (Kyle); Morgan Dick(Andrew); Stephanie Malone (Holden) and Justin McKinney; great grandchildren Knoah Anderson, Henry Dick, Elijah Anderson, George Dick, Louise Dick, Emery Anderson, Baby Malone due in September; and devoted caregivers Deborah Rose Wirtley; Teresa Tracy, Shauna Harper and Lexi Barker.
Graceful and poised, Betty was deeply devoted to her family. She was a steadfast wife, a nurturing mother, and a proud grandmother and great grandmother. Her warmth, resilience, and quiet elegance will be dearly missed.
Service and Burial will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 2900 Washington Rd, Canonsburg, Pa 15017. Times to be announced soon.
