Yvonne Brayton

Yvonne was the beloved wife of the late Robert M. Brayton. She is survived by her children, Robert J. Brayton and Tina D. Brayton, and her grandson, Grant A. Kerns. She was the daughter of the late Kate Strong Watkins and Charlie Watkins. Yvonne also leaves behind her brothers, Tony Watkins, Jerry Watkins, and Keith Watkins, and was preceded in death by her brothers Jim Watkins and Charles Watkins. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Yvonne and Robert shared a deep love for traveling and saw so much of the United States together. She was happiest when camping and being outdoors, especially if she could find a unique rock to add to her collection. After she retired, she dedicated her time to caring for her grandson, Grant, who was truly her favorite. Even as she faced the challenges of Alzheimer’s, her love for the outdoors never faded—we will always remember the many driveway rocks she would proudly bring into the house, never forgetting her lifelong passion for them.
