Evelyn M. Emerson

Emerson, Evelyn M. (nee Schraer), beloved wife of the late Kenneth D. Emerson Sr. Dear step-mother of Kenneth D. (Donna) Emerson Jr., Mary (Leroy) Goans, Patricia (Bradley) Lane and the late Barbara Lowery.  Also preceded in death by Evelyn's infant son, Roy Emerson.  Grandmother of Eric and Jason Emerson, Vincent and Linda Goans, Brandi and Lance Wilcox and Dolan Lane.  Also survived by great-grandchildren, nephews, a grand-niece, and friends.  Sister of the late Ruth Dickerson, Edward and Raymond Schraer.  Passed away Saturday January 6, 2018 at the age of 92.  Evelyn was an avid Reds fan and loved her crossword and jigsaw puzzles.  She was a member of the VFW Post 1042 Ladies Auxiliary.  Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 10:30 until time of funeral service at 12 noon.  Memorials may be directed to Salvation Army, 114 East Central Parkway, Cincinnati, OH 45202 or to Hospice of Cincinnati at Twin Towers, 5343 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45224.
