Floyd Wayne Gadberry, age 82, passed away on November 22, 2025.
He was born on January 14, 1943, to the late Coy and Edna Gadberry. Floyd was a longtime resident of Liberty Township, though he never veered far from his hometown of Reading, Ohio. Many of his days were spent visiting lifelong friends at White Castle. He enjoyed being outdoors and held a deep appreciation for nature. Floyd also had a lifelong passion for classic cars and restoring and showing them. For many years, he participated in car shows, often winning awards—a true testament to his dedication and love for the hobby. After many years of service, he retired from the Formica Corporation.
Floyd is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Hazlett (Scott); his son, Eric Saville; and his partner, Sarah Saville. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Lucas (Katie) and Megan; his great-grandchildren, Luke, Natalie, Suzie, Iris, and Max; and his sister, Ginny Beaty. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Marty Hedge, mother of his daughter, whom he shared many wonderful years with; his brothers, Bill Gadberry and Don Gadberry; and his sister, Shirley Penter.
Memorial Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 1-3 PM.
