Frank Listermann, 89, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2026, at The Seasons Retirement Community. A lifelong resident of the Cincinnati area, Frank was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, coach and friend whose love of family and commitment to his work and community touched many lives.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Bernadette Listermann; his children, Karen (John) Alsip, Kathleen, Patrick, and Kevin (Michelle) Listermann; and his grandchildren, Kellen Alsip and Clara, Lillie, and Frank Gehrig Listermann. He is also survived by his sister, Lois Elsbrock. He was preceded in heaven by his brother, Robert Listermann.

Frank was born to Frank and Anna Listermann and grew up in Hartwell, Ohio. He attended Roger Bacon High School and graduated from The Xavier University. He proudly served his country as a Captain in the United States Army Reserves for seven years. He was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.

Frank dedicated 43 years of his professional life to Kahn’s/Hillshire Farm, where he served as a supervisor. After retiring, he spent another 19 years working at Blue Ash Golf Course, where he was truly in his element. An avid golfer, he loved the game, the camaraderie it brought, and simply being at the course each day. Frank took great pride in the accomplishments of his career and in the relationships, he built throughout his working and personal life.
