Gail Caroline Merritt (Meirose) passed away on July 4, 2025, surrounded by loving family and friends. Gail was married to Mike Merritt for twenty-nine years. She was the mother of Adrian (Val) and Rachel. Gail was the grandmother of Theodore and Anna. She is also survived by her loving sisters and brother, Barbara Martin (Ronald), Marian Weber (Richard), Susan Branigan (Thomas), Walter Meirose Jr (Linda). She is remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, friends and extended family. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 18th, 1950, and is the daughter of, and preceded in death by her parents Walter and Ruth Meirose (Schafer), and Lucille Meirose (Gordon). She was a graduate of Seton High School and the Deaconess School of Nursing and furthered her education at Mount Saint Joseph. She had a forty-five-year career dedicated to nursing and health care at several Cincinnati area hospitals. Gail lived her life dedicated to others and will be greatly missed by many.

Memorial Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Road, Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 5PM until time of service at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made in Memory of Gail Merritt (Meirose) to:
