George I. Gray

George Gray, age 91, a 50 year resident of Lake Pointe in Plymouth Michigan passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 while residing at his residence in Cincinnati, Ohio.  George was born on December 14,1932 in Lawrenceville Illinois, the son of William Creston Gray and Alene Veora Tann. He had been married to Valerie (Wells) Gray of Port Huron, Michigan for 62 years.
   
 After retiring from Burroughs, George enjoyed spending time traveling with friends and family. He was an active member of Westminster Church of Detroit.
   
 Preceding him in death were his parents, step-mother Geneva Casey, his wife Valerie, brother Melvin Gray, sister Nancy Veora Priestly. Survivors include his children, Veronica Gray and Janene (Gray) Gaines, son-in-law Adrian Gaines; his grandson, Jacob Gaines, sister Dula Brock and brother Joseph Gray.
   
 Interment will be in the Tann Cemetery, Lawrence County, Illinois  at a future date to be determined by the family.
