Glenna Faye Wilson, born on July 30, 1937, in Perry County, Kentucky, passed away on May 22, 2025, in Mason, Ohio. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and love touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Glenna dedicated much of her life to being a homemaker, a role she embraced wholeheartedly. She found fulfillment in caring for her home and those within it, especially enjoying the time spent babysitting numerous children, who became an extension of her own family. Her nurturing spirit was contagious, and her kindness was often the light in the lives of many.
Her faith in the Lord was beyond measure, guiding her through life's challenges and triumphs alike. It was this deep-rooted faith that often inspired those around her, and she loved fiercely with her whole heart. For Glenna, nothing was more important than her children and grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Each moment spent with them was a treasure, and in her eyes, they were her legacy.
Glenna's adventurous spirit led her and her late husband, Richard Wilson, on many travels across the beautiful landscapes of the United States. Together, they created countless memories filled with laughter, love, and a shared appreciation for the wonders of life. Richard, along with her parents, Goebel and Tressie Dooley, and beloved siblings—Gleamon, Earl, Cantley, Johnny, Dorothy, and Margie Helen—preceded her in death.
Glenna is survived by her cherished daughters: Vickie (Bill) Mahan, Belinda (Bryan) Sandusky, Sharon (Lonnie) Riley, Hope Wilson, Connie (Steve) Junk, and Judy Luttman. She leaves behind a loving legacy in her grandchildren: Trinity Walsh, Tiffany Boyd, Ricky Beavers, Heather Sandusky, Amber Richardson, Caleb Riley, Lincoln Riley, Jeremy Bach, Josh Bach, Tim Balzer, Kristin Jones, Taylor Luttman, and Brooke Luttman.
As we gather to honor and celebrate her remarkable life, we remember Glenna as a woman of unwavering faith, profound love, and boundless generosity. Her gentle spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her, ensuring that her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
