Hamilton, Ohio – Gordon Lewis Farmer, age 89 went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday evening, May 30, 2026. He was born April 28,1937 in Lockland, Ohio to the late Vestal and Oza May Farmer.

Gordon was a patient, easy-going man who was admired and loved by many. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and beloved Papaw. He was gracious, generous, and always willing to lend a helpful hand and found joy in spending time with those he loved. Gordon proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War before beginning his career at General Mills. His many hobbies included playing softball, golf, bowling and going hunting; many of which he enjoyed sharing alongside his sons and grandsons. His family and friends will miss him dearly and cherish the time and memories they had with him.

Gordon was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Peggy Farmer and is survived by his children, David Farmer, Gordy Farmer, Jim Farmer, Nancy Breedlove, and Diane Williams; his grandchildren, Hayden, Lara, Jeff, Chris, Katie, Julie, Cameron, Taylor, Jessica, Crystal, Bobbi Jean, Lauren, Todd and Austin. 

Visitation will take place at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Road, Liberty Township, on Friday June 5, 2026, from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service beginning at 11 AM.
