FUNKE, Helen M. (nee Goetz)

Beloved wife of the late Robert Funke. Loving mother of Al R. Funke and Marianne L. Mason (nee Funke). Cherished Grandmother of Michael R. (Ali) Duncan, the late Sarah N. Duncan and great grandmother of 3.

Helen was the daughter of her much-loved parents, the late William and Louise Goetz. Sister of the late William (Helen) Goetz, Louise (Eddie) Kattleman, Harry (Norma) Goetz, Lester (Lucille) Goetz and Herb (Florence) Goetz. Sister-in-law of the late Clayton Chester (Carole) Coleman. Aunt to many Nieces and Nephews.

A lifelong resident of Gray Road, Helen and Bob were married in 1955 and she would proudly tell people she married the boy next door and worked in the greenhouses side by side until his passing in 1991, continuing the work with their son Al. Helen passed away on Sunday October 18, 2026 at the age of 93.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, College Hill, OH 4224 from 10:00 AM until Services at 11:00 AM.
