Herbert L Ulrich, 97 of Cincinnati, Ohio Passed away July 8, 2026 at Maple Knoll Village Nursing Home.

Herbert was born June 26, 1929 in Pineville, KY. He enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 17. He was deployed to Japan, where he was a mine sweeper. Herbert was married to Peggy for 70 years until her passing 31/2 years ago.

Son of the late Virginia and Roy Ulrich.

Brother of Jeanette (the late Karl) Garloch, the late June (Homer) Smith, Ann (the late Jim) Chess, Mary (Jay) Shelton, the late Herman (Teriko) Ulrich and Bob (Lucy) Ulrich.

Father of Sandy Ulrich, Tom (Cathy) Ulrich, Michael (Shannon) Ulrich and Keith (Tonya) Ulrich.

Grandfather of Tommy (Shelby) Ulrich, Travis (Megan) Ulrich, Trina (Chad) Gutzwiller, Trent Ulrich, Amber (Mike) Pennington, Alex (Alexa) Ulrich, Mason Ulrich, Paul (Katie) Ulrich and Seth (Kelsey) Ulrich.

Great grandfather of Layla, Marley, Ronan, Reece, Gabe, Emma, Adie, Eloise, Rhyker, Jax, River, Gavin, Jack, Logan and Rhett.

Uncle to Many Nieces and Many nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday July 18, 2026 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, College Hill, OH 45224 from 10:00 AM until Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
